Yeah, thats crazy. I bet the Pats organization was just laughing their asses off while signing the penalty check.
They should trade that pick for two second round picks and get three players total in that round. It would help their salary cap tremendously and shore up some weak positions (like they have any). If that 2nd overall pick turned out to be a bust, it would take too much money from the club and leave less for spying.
If they did use it to get a high profile player though, it would just be a big 'F-you' to the NFL. Haha, its crazy.
