Former All pro quarterback Michael Vick was just sentenced to 23 months in federal prison for his role in dogfighting. Vick was part of a group called "Bad Newz Kennels" in his backyard in Virginia. He sponsored illegal dog fighting and was personally responsible for killing six to eight dogs. He was sentenced today by Judge Henry Hudson, while his mother, brother ( Marcus, former Virginia Tech quarterback) and Falcons owner Arthur Blank looked on. What a tragedy, Vick who signed over 100 million dollars worth of deals will now have to serve time, likely ending his promising career. What a blow to the Falcons and the NFL, it was truly amazing watching him play on the field.
